Shahed drones聽fired by Russia posed a threat to NATO territory in the night from Tuesday to 美诱直播dnesday. That is why the聽Combined Air Operations Centre聽in聽Uedem聽alerted 2 of the F-35s that the Netherlands has stationed in Poland. The fighter planes took off immediately.
The intention was to destroy the Russians' unmanned projectiles when crossing an allied border. 美诱直播apon deployment turned out not to be necessary.
Due to operational safety, the Ministry of Defence does not provide any further details about this deployment.
The F-35s of the Netherlands have been securing NATO airspace over Eastern Europe since last Sunday.
