Lockheed Martin is the U.S. Navy’s strategic missile prime contractor. 美诱直播 have been the trusted prime flight system integrator since the first sea-based deterrent system, the Polaris A1, began development in 1955. The Trident D5 missile is the sixth in a series of missile generations deployed since the sea-based deterrent program began more than 65 years ago.? 美诱直播 are an active partner to the U.S. Navy in the design, manufacture, assembly, testing, deployment and sustainment of the Trident D5 Flight System while activating and maintaining associated support facilities.

Lockheed Martin played a key role in developing and producing the missile and support equipment, and we continue our support of the Navy on the D5 today. First deployed in 1990, the Trident II D5 missile is currently aboard Ohio-class and UK Vanguard-class submarines and will remain in use into the 2040s.
