F-16 Family of Training Systems
As the original equipment manufacturer for all F-16 configurations, Lockheed Martin leverages the platform’s operational flight profile to achieve maximum concurrency and realism with the aircraft.

The accuracy and immersion provided by Lockheed Martin F-16 training systems are proven to significantly reduce flight syllabi for pilot training, which leads to lower yearly operational costs per pilot and extends the life of the training aircraft.

Full Mission Trainer
Lockheed Martin’s Full Mission Trainer is a fully immersive, networked, high-fidelity, visual, aural, and tactile simulation of the F-16 aircraft cockpit. All controls, instruments, displays, lights, switches, panels, and other aircraft furnishings are realistic physical and functional representations of the actual aircraft systems. The F-16 Full Mission Trainer also features fully correlated visuals and sensors, a high-resolution photo-specific database, and high-fidelity tactical environment and weapons models.

Full Mission Trainer Visual Display Systems

Instructor Operation Station (IOS)
Our IOS offers a full suite of controls and views for the instructor/operator to perform scenario planning, training execution and real-time monitoring. The IOS allows the instructor/operator to prepare, plan, edit, execute, monitor, role play, control, brief and debrief training exercises. It also monitors trainee actions across all displays (i.e., all color multi-function displays, heads up display, data entry display, radar warning receiver), cockpit instruments, panels and controls in real time.

- Activate/deactivate computer generated force (CGF) entities during exercise run-time
- Control a selected CGF entity manually with the hands-on throttle and stick (HOTAS) during exercise run-time
- Slew function for ownship and CGF
- 2D/3D raster map view of the entire exercise area, including display of all dynamic simulated (static and moving, friendly and hostile) entities
- 3D stealth display page with adjustable viewpoint positioned anywhere, and in any orientation during run-time
Tactical Environment Simulation (TES)
Our simulation tactical environment includes an extensive computer generated force (CGF) library with models for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, land and sea platforms, surface-to-air missile systems, life forms, cultural features and anti-air systems. CGF entities and weapon performance have been validated on both the F-16 and F-35 programs.

Brief/Debrief Station (BDS)
Our Brief/Debrief Station includes 3D battlespace display capability from any eyepoint and perspective within the battlespace scenario consistent with the Instructor Operation Station (IOS) real-time display capability. It allows instructors to perform effective scenario briefings and after-action review (AAR) debriefings with communications playback, while also freeing up the training device to conduct a new training session in parallel.
Key features:
- Includes traffic situation display, weapon scoring page, cockpit panel repeater, cockpit displays, heads-up display with out the window, scenario timeline, and BDS control functions
- Simultaneously displays correlated cockpit control, switch, and display information for all local ownship elements in the scenario
- Recordings and playback are synchronized across all sub systems, IOS pages and displays with visuals, audio/communication
- Instructor controls are identical to the IOS

The 美诱直播apons Tactics Trainer is a modified cockpit and visual system that allows weapons and tactical training. It uses the same operational flight program (OFP) software simulation as the Full Mission Trainer, with the same interface, weapons models and functionality. The cockpit includes reconfigurable displays and a medium fidelity, fully functioning stick and throttle.
The 美诱直播apons Tactics Trainer includes an embedded Instructor Operation Station (IOS) and can be used as a standalone training device or be fully integrated with other devices as a force multiplier.
Pilot Training Aid (PTA)
The Pilot Training Aid enables trainees to learn the pilot vehicle interface and rehearse tactics, weapon system integration and procedures.
